This modest project was the second that The Trust had undertaken and involved very little major building work to this tiny cottage. 

Internally, the property was in a dreadful state and although little major building work was required, the relocation of the staircase allowed for a complete reorganisation of the ground floor accommodation. The interior was redecorated extensively and modern kitchen and bathroom facilities were installed. 

The exterior of the property was completely transformed by fitting high quality reproductions of period sash windows and a traditional panelled front door making No. 64 into a charming cottage residence.
